Abu Dhabi Sports Council participates in 20th edition of Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition

Abu Dhabi Sports Council announced its participation in the 20th edition of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2023, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and President of the Emirates Falconers Club, from September 2 to 8, 2023.

Its strategy aims to support and sponsor the most important events for hunting and equestrian sports, and work to enhance its distinguished journey in preserving the Emirati heritage.

They will host a pavilion of 540 square meters, which includes many Abu Dhabi clubs, such as Abu Dhabi Fencing Club, Abu Dhabi Archery Club, Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy for Women’s Sports, Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, and Abu Dhabi Aviation Sports Club.

Their efforts fall within the framework of the endeavours to spread sports culture, development of sports infrastructure, and introduce the council’s role and function in achieving progress and prosperity for various types of sports.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council pavilion consist many promotional platforms for the various local and international tournaments it organises throughout the sports season, while clubs will be able to display and promote their products, based on their significance to the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, as well as the interests of visitors from all over the world.

His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said that their participation in the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition confirms the national approach followed, and comes under the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which aims to support Abu Dhabi’s quality clubs in promoting their annual events and championships.

“These in turn reflect the UAE’s leadership’s initiative in organising major events, exhibitions, festivals and events in various fields,” HE Al Awani added.

“The exhibition attracts interested and passionate local and international visitors who are decision makers with high purchasing power alongside showcasing the UAE’s environmental, cultural and heritage values, authentic sports and sustainable hunting.

“At the same time, the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition provides a unique opportunity for local, regional and international companies and brands to participate, be present and meet potential partners and customers face to face, in an effort to build strong bilateral business relationships.”

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors. It is a unique event of its kind dedicated and designed to promote the 11 industry sectors it includes, extending over an area of ​​about 70,000 square meters of exhibition space that includes more than 960 exhibitors.

It is a brand that highlights the latest technologies, innovations and trends in falconry, hunting and equestrianism, including hunting and camping equipment and accessories, traditional and modern falconry, hunting tools and methods, in addition to the best hunting destinations in the world.
