Under the patronage of Hamdan bin Zayed, the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally is holding its 33rd edition

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, the Abu Dhabi Desert Rally competitions will be held in its 33rd edition during the period from February 25 to March 2, 2024.

The 2024 edition of the rally is the third edition of the World Long Desert Rally Cup (W2RC), in which the Abu Dhabi Rally begins as the second round of the World Long Desert Rally Championship after the Dakar Rally, where the International Automobile Federation and the International Motorcycle Federation launched the first edition of the World Rally Championship. His Excellency added: “We work side by side with the Emirates Motor and Motorcycle Organization on various projects throughout the year, starting from Formula 1 to local rallies, and we feel proud to join forces with them for the second year in a row in this event that reaffirms Abu Dhabi’s position as a hub.” A major player in the arena of sporting excellence in the world.
