The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Zayed Charity Race announced the full program for the 2023-2024 season

The Supreme Organizing Committee of the Zayed Charity Race announced the full program for the 2023-2024 season that includes the Abu Dhabi Charity Race, the Arab Republic of Egypt Race, and the United States Race, all of which will be held during 2023, as well as the inaugural edition of the race scheduled in India in 2024.

This announcement was made during the committee meeting held yesterday at the Abu Dhabi Legacy Hotel, headed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, and in the presence of all partners from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the Red Crescent Authority, the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Interior represented by Fazza, the Zayed Foundation, the Supreme Council for People of Determination, the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Works, and the media partner Abu Dhabi Sports Channel Group.

The Abu Dhabi Charity Race will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, on December 4, 2023, at Yas Marina Circuit as part of the Emirates Day celebrations.

The proceeds from the race will be directed to research and innovative treatments for cancer diseases, noting that its financial prizes for the first-place winners amount to AED 1million.

Regarding the date and location of the Zayed Charity Race in Egypt, the head of the committee stated that it will be held on December 29, 2023, in the Giza Pyramids area.

Its financial prizes have been doubled to 10million Egyptian pounds, distributed among 10,000 male and female winners, which is an increase from last year’s 5,000 competitors.

With regard to the Zayed Charity Race in the United States of America, it will move this year in its seventeenth edition from New York to Miami in the state of Florida, and will be held on 4 November 2023.

A meeting was held with the authorities in the Indian state of Kerala on June 18, in cooperation with the Indian community in the Emirates, to discuss the launch of the first edition of the Zayed Charity Race in India in the state of Kerala.

Another meeting will be held soon with officials in the Ministry of Culture and Youth as well as the Indian and community authorities to determine the date, place and prizes for the first race, which is expected to commence in 2024.
