Competitors from 22 Nationalities to Contest the AD Baja Challenge in Al Quoa

The third round of the third season of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge, scheduled to take place on 24 January 2026 in Al Quoa, Al Ain, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), will see strong participation with more than 80 male and female competitors representing 22 nationalities. The event will feature intense competition across the motorcycles, quad bikes, cars, and buggies categories. The third round is held with the support and sponsorship of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, which will take place from 6 to 15 February in Abu Dhabi. The Games are expected to attract over 25,000 participants competing in more than 30 different sports over ten days, in a global sporting event that reflects Abu Dhabi’s advanced standing in hosting and organizing major international sports events. The provisional entry list for the third round of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge includes a distinguished group of local and international competitors, featuring a large number of Emirati participants alongside competitors from the United Kingdom, South Africa, Italy, France, Lebanon, India, Ireland, Russia, Spain, Lithuania, China, Switzerland, Ukraine, Canada, Qatar, Pakistan, New Zealand, the United States of America, Denmark, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait. Entries are spread across multiple categories, including motorcycles in various classes, quad bikes, cars, and the buggy category, highlighting the diversity and competitive strength of the event. Mahir AL Badri, Chief Executive of the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), affirmed that “the third round represents an important milestone in the season, underlining how the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge continues to demonstrate strong progression from one round to the next. This growth is evident in rising participation, the diversity of nationalities represented, and the increasingly competitive level of the field. He added that this momentum reflects the strength of the organisation behind the series and the solid support for motorsport in the UAE, and expressed his appreciation for the continued collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in delivering a programme that nurtures community participation, supports grassroots development, and provides a meaningful platform for competitors to grow within the sport”.
