Human Fraternity Run Witnesses Impressive Community Participation

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in cooperation with the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, organised the Human Fraternity Run on Al Hudayriat Island yesterday evening, Thursday, with the aim of supporting the principles of human fraternity, uniting the community, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and creating an unforgettable experience full of connection between all members of society.

The race included various distances - 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km - to suit different skill levels, with The event received an impressive response, with the participation of more than 800 individuals from various nationalities and age groups. It provided an opportunity for runners of all ages and athletic abilities to enjoy a unique experience and contribute to promoting human values ​​that aim to spread peace and cooperation amongst the entire community.

In this regard, His Excellency Ambassador Khaled Ghanem Al-Ghaith, Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, affirmed: "This event was held for the first time in celebration of the International Day of Human Fraternity on February 4, which aims to promote the values of humanity and deepen the meaning of coexistence among individuals and communities. Participants from various ages, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds gathered, transcending social barriers in an atmosphere of joy and unity, expressing their solidarity with the values of tolerance, peace and coexistence. This event is a true embodiment of the principles of the Document on Human Fraternity, contributing to the building of a more cohesive and tolerant society."
