The two mainstays of the Argentine Super Cup visit Qasr Al Muwaiji and Al Ain Oasis
The Abu Dhabi Sports Council organized an introductory visit to the two poles of the Argentine Super Cup - Boca Juniors and Racing Club - which will be held on Friday, January 20 at Hazaa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, as part of the cooperation agreement between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Argentine Football Association.
This agreement extends for four years in support of Abu Dhabi's partnership plans with international sports institutions and bodies, attracting elite international sporting events, and working to host historical football sporting events in Abu Dhabi.
The two teams visited Qasr Al Muwaiji, one of the most important cultural sites in Al Ain, which is included on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Al Ain region
The two teams also visited Al Ain Oasis, which is the largest oasis in the city of Al Ain, also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2011. It was officially opened to the public in 2016 to discover the educational environmental centre and wander among a wide range of shaded paths lined with 147 thousand palm trees. There are vast areas where about 100 species of plants grow, in addition to a number of productive farms.
Tomorrow, Thursday, January 19, the official press conference for the Argentine Super Cup will be held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium at 4.30pm, followed by the main training of the Racing Club, which starts at 5pm.
It will be followed by the main training of Boca Juniors, starting at exactly 7pm.
