The final of the MYWHOOSH Ramadan Cycling Challenge.

The fourth edition of the MYWHOOSH Ramadan Cycling Challenge, a community race organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with MYWHOOSH, took place on March 19 and 20, 2025, on Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The event showcased a competitive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of sports and community during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The challenge, which was part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council's agenda of community sports events aimed at encouraging physical activity, promoting cycling culture, and expanding its participation base, began on Wednesday, March 19, with a 50 km race for women, while the men's race was held the following day over a 60 km distance.

Sofia Al-Sayegh from the MYWHOOSH team won first place in the open category for Emirati women, completing the race in a time of 1:24:27 hours. Second place went to Sheikha Issa from the Police, and third place was claimed by Ayesha Foulad from the MYWHOOSH team.

In the open category for Emirati men, Ahmed Al-Mansoori, a rider from Al Ahli Youth Team, secured first place with a time of 1:22:35 hours, while his teammate Talal Soudeir took second place, and Mohammed Al-Mutaiwi came in third.

In the open category for residents, the Dubai Police team dominated the top three positions. Egyptian rider Ibtisam Zayed took first place with a time of 1:11:43 hours, while Kazakhstan’s Makabat Omutzahnova finished in second place, and Lithuanian Olivia Balecity came in third.

In the open men's category for residents, Dubai Police rider Hamza Amari from Algeria claimed first place with a time of 1:20:53 hours. Second place went to Moroccan Suleiman Minwal from Team Yasi, and third place was secured by another Algerian rider, Yassine Hamza, from Dubai Police.

The winners were awarded their trophies by Sheikha Madiya bint Hashir bin Maan Al Maktoum, Talal Mustafa Al Hashemi, Executive Director of Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abdulrahim Al Zarouni, Director of the Communication Office at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Mohammed Khalfan Al Qubaisi, Acting Director of Human Resources at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
