ADSC’s Application
Data Collection
The type of information we collect includes personal information, derivative data, geolocation information, mobile device access, mobile device data, and push notifications.
Personal Information
While using our application, we collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name and email address, which you voluntarily provide when participating in various interactive activities such as chats, surveys, feedback, requesting information, using services and journeys, and logging in through the UAE Pass. Your personal information will be logged and saved on our servers for the purpose of logging and tracking transactional services.
Derivative Data
We may automatically gather and store certain technical information while you use an application, such as the pages you accessed and the transactions you made. This information is collected with the intent to understand your needs and help you to access information better.
Payment Data
Our application provides you with the option to pay for multiple services, including water, electricity, traffic fines, and many others. We do not collect or store any of the financial data such as credit card details.
Geo-Location Information
When you use ADSC’s application, we request your consent to access and collect data on your geo-location. We use this to determine your current location and provide you with specific services such as map directions and routes to the nearest government entity. The geo tracking service is also used to provide you with services and information related to your geographic location.
You can disable the geo-location tracking service, if you wish, through the device’s settings.
Mobile Device Data
Each time you access ADSC’s application we may automatically, based on the permissions you have granted, access certain features from your mobile device and collect information such as the device type you are using, the operating system running on the device, default language, location, and network provider.
Mobile Device Access
Some of our services, such as reporting an incident, may require you to upload supporting documents such as images. For this kind of services, we may request your permission to access certain features from your mobile device, including camera, contacts, reminders, SMS messages, social media accounts, and other features.
You can always disable the access permission at any time through the device’s settings.
Push Notifications
With the intent of facilitating your experience in availing our services and keeping you updated, we may request to send you push notifications regarding government services, your account or an application update. You can always disable this type of notifications by turning them off in your device’s settings.
